Scholarships & Bursaries at Dakodas

Our scholarships are designed to recognise and encourage dancers who show exceptional dedication to their training and a genuine passion for dance. These awards celebrate students who consistently embody the values of Dakodas, both in and out of the studio.

Scholarships may be considered based on a combination of the following factors:

  • Commitment to training and personal growth
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • A positive, focused attitude in class
  • Effort, resilience, and willingness to improve
  • Progress over time
  • Teamwork, kindness, and support of others
  • Overall dedication to their dance journey

Scholarships may cover some or all class fees, depending on the award, and are reviewed periodically to ensure the student continues to meet the expectations of the programme.

Current Scholarship Recipient

We are delighted to share that Sasha is our current scholarship recipient. Sasha consistently demonstrates the values, work ethic, and commitment that our scholarship programme represents.

Bursaries

In addition to scholarships, we also offer Bursaries to support families who may need financial assistance to access or continue dance training.

Bursaries are assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking financial circumstances and student commitment into account.

How to Be Considered

Scholarships and bursaries are typically by invitation or internal review, though families are welcome to make enquiries if they feel their child may be eligible.

If you would like to discuss scholarships or bursaries at Dakodas Dance Academy, please contact us directly for a confidential conversation.

We are proud to support our dancers not only in their technique, but in their growth, confidence, and long-term love of dance.
