Balancing Lab
A deep dive into core control and alignment, this workshop helps students improve both static and dynamic balance - upright and upside down.
Prerequisites: Forward roll to stand, kick to handstand
Skills we’ll work towards:
Handstand forward roll
Backward roll to handstand
Dive rolls
Shoulder stand, fish rolls
Teddy bear rolls, tornados
Preparatory front and back somersault drills
Levers: straddle, pike, planche
Handstand variations: pirouette, straddle/pike lift and lower, healy turn
Headstand: to handstand/froggy, from bridge
Forearm stand
