MORE THAN JUST A DANCE CLASS
The early years are an extraordinary time for learning. Our classes are designed to nurture much more than physical ability.
Through carefully structured movement, music and imaginative play, children are encouraged to develop:
- confidence and independence
- coordination, balance and spatial awareness
- listening and concentration
- rhythm and musicality
- creativity and self-expression
- social skills and teamwork
- resilience and the confidence to try something new
BABY & TODDLER BALLET
A joyful introduction to classical ballet created especially for little learners.
Children explore movement, music, storytelling and simple ballet vocabulary while developing posture, coordination, musicality and confidence. Our teachers understand how to balance genuine learning with the imagination and fun that keeps young children completely engaged.

NURSERY ACRO & GYMNASTICS
Rolling, balancing, stretching, jumping and fundamental acrobatic skills are introduced safely and progressively by experienced teachers.
Classes help children develop strength, flexibility, coordination and spatial awareness, while building the confidence to explore what their bodies can do.
CREATIVE DANCE & STREET DANCE
Energetic, musical and full of personality.
Children explore rhythm, movement and simple choreography while developing coordination, confidence and self-expression. Sessions are carefully adapted to the age and ability of each nursery group.

What to expect at your first toddler class
Before the class: arrive 5 minutes early so your child has time to say hello to our teaching staff and feel settled before you leave. Comfortable clothing and bare feet or soft shoes are fine for a trial — no uniform needed on your first visit.
During the class: you're welcome to wait nearby but won't be in the room. Most children settle within the first few minutes. If your child finds the first session tricky, that's completely normal — our teachers are experienced at gently building independence, and it almost always clicks within a session or two.
After the class: your child will come out buzzing. Ask them to show you what they learned — you'll be surprised how much they remember.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN DAKODA’S COMES TO YOUR NURSERY
Before we begin:
We work with your team to understand the children’s ages, group sizes, available space and nursery timetable so that the programme is right for your setting.
During each class:
One of our specialist teachers leads a structured, engaging session using music, movement and age-appropriate activities. Nursery staff are welcome to remain with the group, particularly with younger children.
As the children progress:
Our classes build week by week. Children become familiar with the teacher, class structure and vocabulary, allowing their confidence and physical skills to develop naturally over time.
For your nursery:
You have a professional specialist provider delivering a high-quality enrichment activity that you can confidently offer to your families.

Most children surprise themselves. Book a trial and find out what yours is capable of when they have the room to themselves.
