Private family dance classes in London
Create a joyful shared experience with a private dance class designed for parents, children and family members to enjoy together. The session is tailored to the ages, confidence and interests of the people taking part, making it a memorable London activity for local families or international visitors.
Who this family class is for
Family dance lessons work beautifully for a parent and child, siblings, visiting relatives or a small family group. No previous dance experience is needed. The class can be relaxed and playful, or built around a favourite style, song, celebration or piece of choreography.
What your family can enjoy
- Simple, inclusive choreography adapted for different ages
- Music, rhythm, coordination and movement games
- Ballet, street dance, musical theatre, Latin, jazz or another chosen style
- A special holiday, birthday or family experience
- Confidence, connection and plenty of shared enjoyment
The teacher will make sure everyone can participate comfortably while still giving the group something satisfying to learn. The aim is not perfection; it is high-quality teaching, laughter, movement and a shared memory.
Where family lessons can take place
Choose a Dakodas studio in Knightsbridge, a suitable home, hotel or private venue in London. The standard booking is generally suitable for up to two participants. For a larger family group, please contact us so we can confirm the appropriate teacher, space and adjusted price.
How booking works
- Choose and pay for a 60, 90 or 120-minute session online.
- We contact you to ask who will attend, the preferred style, location, day and time.
- We match your family with a suitable teacher and confirm the final arrangement.
The exact time is subject to teacher and venue availability, so a little flexibility may be required.
Book a private family dance class for a warm, premium and completely personalised experience together.
