Private singing lessons and vocal coaching in London
Private singing lessons at Dakodas provide individual vocal coaching for children, teenagers and adults. Whether the goal is to sing with greater confidence, develop healthy technique, prepare a song for an audition or simply enjoy music, the session is shaped around the singer and their voice.
Who this private class is for
One-to-one coaching is especially valuable for a student who feels self-conscious in a group, is preparing for a stage-school or scholarship audition, needs support with a performance, or is visiting London during the holidays. Adults from complete beginner to experienced performer are also welcome.
What your lesson can include
- Breath control, posture and supported sound
- Pitch, tone, range and vocal confidence
- Diction, phrasing and interpretation
- Song preparation for auditions, examinations or performances
- Musical theatre, contemporary or popular repertoire
- Individual feedback and practical exercises for continued progress
The teacher will select exercises and repertoire appropriate to the student's age, level and goals. You may bring a song you are already working on or ask us to help identify suitable material. The emphasis is always on confident, expressive singing supported by thoughtful vocal technique.
Where private lessons can take place
Choose a Dakodas studio in Knightsbridge, a suitable home, hotel or private venue in London. We regularly arrange lessons for local families, international visitors and bookings made through hotel concierges. Private sessions are generally for one or two participants. Larger groups can be arranged, although the price may increase.
How booking works
- Choose and pay for a 60, 90 or 120-minute private session online.
- We contact you to ask for your preferred day, time, location and goals.
- We match you with a suitable specialist teacher and confirm the final arrangement.
Because the lesson is individually arranged, the exact time is subject to teacher and venue availability. A small amount of flexibility may be needed, but our team will work with you to find the best possible option.
Book a private singing lesson and let us match you with a specialist teacher who can help your voice develop with confidence.
