Private drama and acting lessons in London
Dakodas private drama lessons help children, teenagers and adults develop acting technique, vocal confidence and truthful communication in a focused one-to-one setting. The lesson is shaped around the student's experience, personality and reason for booking.
Who this private class is for
Private acting tuition can support a shy child who wants to grow in confidence, a student preparing to join a group, or a performer working towards an audition, speech, school assessment or stage-school application. It is equally suitable for adults wishing to develop presentation, communication or performance skills.
What your lesson can include
- Acting technique, intention and character development
- Monologue and scene preparation
- Voice, projection, diction and articulation
- Improvisation, imagination and spontaneity
- Audition confidence and responding to direction
- Communication and presentation skills
Students may bring existing material or work with the teacher to explore something suitable. With individual feedback and time to repeat, question and refine, private coaching can help the performer understand not only what to do, but why each choice is effective.
Where private lessons can take place
Choose a Dakodas studio in Knightsbridge, a suitable home, hotel or private venue in London. We regularly arrange lessons for local families, international visitors and bookings made through hotel concierges. Private sessions are generally for one or two participants. Larger groups can be arranged, although the price may increase.
How booking works
- Choose and pay for a 60, 90 or 120-minute private session online.
- We contact you to ask for your preferred day, time, location and goals.
- We match you with a suitable specialist teacher and confirm the final arrangement.
Because the lesson is individually arranged, the exact time is subject to teacher and venue availability. A small amount of flexibility may be needed, but our team will work with you to find the best possible option.
Book a private drama lesson for warm, expert coaching that builds technique, confidence and authentic performance.
