Welcome
We are absolutely thrilled to have your son or daughter with us for gymnastics classes at Newton Prep!
Our classes will give pupils the opportunity to develop their strength, flexibility, coordination and gymnastics technique within a positive, encouraging environment.
Whether your child already loves gymnastics or is joining a class for the very first time, we want every pupil to feel welcome, confident and excited to take part.
Below is some important information so that everyone arrives ready to move, learn and have fun.
What to bring
Please ensure your child arrives to every class with:
- A named full water bottle
- A leotard (+ optional shorts) or suitable stretchy fitted clothing
- Hair ideally in a bun - at a minimum long hair tied securely away from the face
Please label all clothing and personal belongings clearly with your child’s name.
Why does the correct clothing matter?
Suitable gymnastics clothing helps to:
- Keep children safe
- Let our team see body alignment and technique clearly
- Give feedback to help improve movements accurately
- Help every child progress
- Ensure children get the most from every class
Thank you for helping us keep our gymnastics classes safe, comfortable and enjoyable for every child.

Clothing should be comfortable, stretchy and allow children to move freely and safely. You can purchase the leotard above directly from us.
