Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park - Gymnastics
We are delighted to provide specialist gymnastics classes for pupils at Francis Holland School, Regent’s Park.
At Dakodas, we believe that excellent gymnastics training should go hand in hand with confidence, enjoyment and encouragement. Our classes help children develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and body control within a safe, positive and supportive environment.
Pupils will work progressively on a variety of gymnastics skills, including balances, rolls, jumps, handstands, cartwheels, vaulting and tumbling.

What to wear
Children should wear:
- A gymnastics leotard; or

Loose clothing, dresses, skirts, jeans and clothing with zips, buckles or other hard fastenings are not suitable for gymnastics.

Why does ballet uniform matter?
Wearing the correct ballet uniform is an important part of ballet training.
Suitable clothing allows our teachers to:
- See posture and body alignment clearly
- Teach ballet technique safely and accurately
- Correct movements effectively
- Encourage good ballet habits from the beginning
- Help every child progress with confidence
It also helps children understand the structure and expectations of a ballet class and gives them a wonderful sense of belonging to their club.
- See posture and body alignment clearly
-
What to Bring
- A named water bottle
- All ballet shoes and clothing are clearly named
- Long hair is tied securely away from the face. A ballet bun would be amazing, but we understand this may not be possible at the start of a school day, so please ensure your child has a hair tie to tie their hair up.
- Jewellery and watches are removed before class
