Tap and Jazz

Tap classes are perfect for children who love rhythm and want to learn how to make music with their feet. Tap dance is a form of dance that involves using metal plates attached to the shoes to create rhythmic sounds while dancing. They will learn various tap steps and techniques, as well as how to combine them into a routine. Tap dance is a fun and energetic way to express oneself while developing musicality, coordination, and rhythm.

Jazz classes are perfect for children who love to move and groove to music. It is a style of dance that originated from African American vernacular dance and incorporates elements of ballet, modern dance, and other styles. They will learn various jazz techniques, including isolations, turns, and jumps, and will work on developing their flexibility and coordination. Jazz dance is a high-energy and expressive style that encourages self-expression and creativity.

Both Tap and Jazz dance require a strong sense of rhythm and musicality and can be enjoyed by dancers of all ages and abilities. The music often has a lively and upbeat tempo, which matches the energetic and dynamic nature of tap and jazz dance.
