Dakodas Young Leaders Scheme

What are Young Leaders?

Our Young Leaders Scheme gives Dakodas students the chance to develop leadership skills by assisting in classes, acting as positive role models, and supporting younger dancers under teacher guidance.

The scheme nurtures responsibility, confidence, communication skills, and teamwork, helping students transition from dancer to leader.

You’re welcome to film or take photos to share privately with family, but please don’t post on social media.

Dates may change—please check emails and the Parent Portal for updates. For camps and workshops, early booking is recommended as spaces fill fast.

    Leadership Development

    Leadership Development

Our Young Leaders Programme empowers students to take on leadership roles, helping them develop skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making. These skills are invaluable for their future academic and professional success.

    Practical Experience

Student helpers will have hands-on experience in assisting our instructors in delivering engaging and educational classes. They will gain practical experience in planning and organising activities, managing time, and working with children in a supportive and inclusive environment.

    Personal Growth

Our programme fosters personal growth by boosting students’ confidence, self-esteem, and sense of responsibility. It provides them with a sense of purpose and accomplishment, as they make a positive impact on their peers and the community.

    Recognition and Reward

Young Leaders will be recognised and appreciated for their contribution to our classes and our community. They will receive certificates, awards, and other forms of recognition to acknowledge their efforts and achievements.
